The reason behind cautioning other members against such types of sexual stimulus is to do with the science behind rebooting. I think you will find that the overarching opinion of the people on this site will be, 'no you should not'. Your question is, 'should you still have Skype sex with your girlfriend?'. I'm sure you will experience all sorts of benefits if you can manage to abstain from using porn, both for when you're alone, and for when you're with your girlfriend. It is really good (imo) that you have decided to commit to eliminate your porn habit from your life. I appreciate any advice and thanks for taking the time read my story. After all, its watching pixels on a screen that got me into this mess. But should I still have Skype sex and all the other stuff. So there and then I realised its time to put this monster to bed. However got back from seeing her for 6 weeks this summer (where i count the number of times I PMO whilst I was there on two hands) and I jump straight back into porn with a passion and its the extreme kind. Actually spent 2 months in hard mode during that time. And my addiction has lessened somewhat over the last year and a half as I have significantly throttled back on PMO.
Now, she's aware of my addiction but doesn't seem to fully grasp it because we enjoy a very healthy sex life when we're together. You guessed it, we exchange dirty pics and have Skype sex. My girlfriend and I have been dating now for just over a year and its been going great! The vast majority of it has been long distance though (she's American and I'm British) and so during the times were apart. I was just wondering if any of you have advice for me in my situation.
